# ToolsByUs (toolsbyus.com)
> Free browser-based tools for JSON, text, encoding, generators, PDFs and images. Every tool processes the visitor's file in their own browser; there is no upload step, no API route and no database.
## What this site is
ToolsByUs is a set of 135 static, single-purpose tools across 10 categories. There is no account, no upload step, and no paid tier. Pages are pre-rendered static HTML; the tools execute as JavaScript in the visitor's own browser, with heavier work offloaded to a Web Worker so the interface stays responsive.

- [Diff Checker](https://toolsbyus.com/diff-checker): Line, word, and character text diff comparison with unified and split views.
- [JSON Formatter](https://toolsbyus.com/json-formatter): Configurable JSON and JSONC formatter with sort-keys and unicode escape controls.
- [JSON Beautifier](https://toolsbyus.com/json-beautifier): Expand minified JSON back into readable, indented form.
- [JSON Pretty Print](https://toolsbyus.com/json-pretty-print): Pretty-prints JSON in the browser, and shows the exact code that does it in JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, C#, PHP, Ruby, Rust, jq and PowerShell — each with the default that catches people out, from Python's ensure_ascii to PowerShell's ConvertTo-Json silently truncating below depth 2.
- [JSON Minifier](https://toolsbyus.com/json-minifier): Whitespace stripper with gzip size estimation and key compression metrics.
- [JSON Validator](https://toolsbyus.com/json-validator): RFC 8259 syntax validation with exact line/column caret and error classification.
- [JSON Parser](https://toolsbyus.com/json-parser): Inspects RFC 8259 JSON in the browser: value counts by type, nesting depth, distinct keys and type mappings for JavaScript, Python, Go, Java and C#. Flags original numeric tokens whose decimal value would change as a JavaScript Number, without changing or exporting rounded source data.
- [JSON Schema Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/json-schema-generator): Infer Draft 2020-12 JSON Schema from sample payloads and validate documents against it.
- [SEO Schema Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/seo-schema-generator): Build valid JSON-LD structured data for Article, Product, LocalBusiness, Event, JobPosting, Recipe and more — validated, with multi-entity @graph output.
- [JSON to CSV](https://toolsbyus.com/json-to-csv): Converts an array of JSON records to CSV in the browser. Nested objects and arrays become reversible column paths (customer.name, tags[0]); the column set is the union of every record rather than read off the first; quoting follows RFC 4180.
- [CSV to JSON](https://toolsbyus.com/csv-to-json): Parses CSV to JSON in the browser with a real RFC 4180 state machine: quoted fields containing commas and newlines, delimiter detection, conservative type inference, and nested objects rebuilt from dotted and bracketed column names.
- [JSON to Excel](https://toolsbyus.com/json-to-excel): Writes a real .xlsx workbook from JSON in the browser — SpreadsheetML, not a CSV renamed to .xls. A JSON number becomes a numeric cell and a JSON string stays text, so leading zeros and product codes survive; nested keys become column paths (customer.name, tags[0]); the header row is bold, frozen and filterable, and column widths are measured from the data.
- [JSON Stringify](https://toolsbyus.com/json-stringify): Escapes a JSON document into a JSON string literal for embedding inside another payload. Single-pass character scan, so the double-escaping that chained find-and-replace produces cannot occur; astral codepoints emit a correct surrogate pair.
- [JSON Unescape](https://toolsbyus.com/json-unescape): Reverses JSON string escaping to recover a document embedded in a log line. Tolerant by design: missing outer quotes, unknown escapes and truncation are reported rather than fatal, and surrogate pairs are recombined so emoji survive.
- [JSON Viewer](https://toolsbyus.com/json-viewer): Renders JSON as a virtualized collapsible tree that stays fast on documents with tens of thousands of nodes, with search across collapsed branches, type-coloured scalars and a copyable RFC 6901 pointer on every row.
- [JSON Editor](https://toolsbyus.com/json-editor): Interactive synchronized tree and text editor with JSONPath query search.
- [XML Formatter](https://toolsbyus.com/xml-formatter): Formats and minifies XML in the browser with a single-pass tokenizer, so comments, CDATA sections, DOCTYPE internal subsets and attribute values containing angle brackets survive intact. Mismatched and unclosed tags are reported with a line and column rather than auto-corrected.
- [Base64 Decode & Encode](https://toolsbyus.com/base64-decode): Base64 standard and URL-safe decoder and encoder with binary download and UTF-8 handling.
- [JWT Decoder](https://toolsbyus.com/jwt-decoder): Decodes a JWT header and payload in the browser, annotates RFC 7519 registered claims, renders exp/nbf/iat as real dates, and flags alg:none, empty signatures and missing audience. Signatures are never verified, because that would require transmitting the token.
- [UUID Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/uuid-generator): Cryptographic v4, v1, and time-ordered v7 UUID generation with version and variant inspection.
- [Password Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/password-generator): Cryptographically secure password, passphrase, and PIN generation with live entropy meter — 100% in your browser.
- [Excel to JSON](https://toolsbyus.com/excel-to-json): Convert Excel .xlsx spreadsheets to JSON online. Sheet picker, header detection, and instant preview — files never leave your device.
- [AI Token Counter](https://toolsbyus.com/ai-token-counter): Count tokens for GPT-4o, Claude, Gemini, and Llama with exact BPE encoding. Cost estimation and context-window usage.
- [Invoice Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/invoice-generator): Create professional invoices entirely in the browser: line items, tax/VAT, discounts, 26 currencies, logo upload, and one-click PDF download. No signup, nothing uploaded.
- [Video to MP3](https://toolsbyus.com/video-to-mp3): Extract the audio track from MP4, WebM or MOV video and download it as MP3 at 128–320 kbps. Decoding and encoding run in the browser — no upload, no limits.
- [JSON to TypeScript](https://toolsbyus.com/json-to-typescript): Generates TypeScript interfaces from a JSON sample in the browser. Optionality is inferred across records rather than read off the first one, identical object shapes are deduplicated into a single named type, and a value that is null in some records becomes a union with null.
- [JSON to Zod](https://toolsbyus.com/json-to-zod): Generates a runnable Zod schema from a JSON sample in the browser. Unlike a TypeScript interface the output is code that parses a value at runtime; optional and nullable are inferred separately across records, identical object shapes are deduplicated into one named schema, detected UUID, email, URL and date-time strings become real format validators, and the target can be Zod 4 or Zod 3.
- [JSON to Go Struct](https://toolsbyus.com/json-to-go): Generates Go structs from a JSON sample in the browser. Fields are exported and tagged so encoding/json does not skip them, optional fields become pointers so absent differs from the zero value, wide integers become int64, and the columns are gofmt-aligned.
- [JSON to Python](https://toolsbyus.com/json-to-python): Generates Python dataclasses, TypedDicts or Pydantic models from a JSON sample in the browser. Required fields are emitted before defaulted ones so the module imports, and an absent key is distinguished from a null value.
- [JSON to C# Classes](https://toolsbyus.com/json-to-csharp): Generates C# classes or records from a JSON sample in the browser. Every property carries an explicit System.Text.Json or Newtonsoft attribute, optional members are nullable, and required reference members are initialised so CS8618 does not fire.
- [JSON to Java Classes](https://toolsbyus.com/json-to-java): Generates Java records or POJOs from a JSON sample in the browser. Optional numeric fields are boxed so a missing key is not deserialized as zero, list elements are boxed because generics cannot hold primitives, and Jackson annotations carry the exact JSON key.
- [XML Viewer](https://toolsbyus.com/xml-viewer): Renders XML as a collapsible tree in the browser. Virtualized over a flattened row list so a large SOAP response opens as fast as a small one, with attributes shown distinctly from child elements and search across the whole document.
- [XML to JSON](https://toolsbyus.com/xml-to-json): Converts XML to JSON in the browser. Attributes are kept under a prefix so they cannot collide with child elements, repeated elements become arrays, and a force-array list solves the single-element problem no converter can infer from the document.
- [JSON to XML](https://toolsbyus.com/json-to-xml): Converts JSON to XML in the browser. Prefixed members become attributes, arrays repeat their element name, an array root is wrapped so the document has exactly one root, and a key that is not a legal XML name is repaired with the original kept in an attribute.
- [YAML to JSON](https://toolsbyus.com/yaml-to-json): Converts YAML to JSON in the browser under the YAML 1.2 core schema, so NO stays a country code rather than becoming false. Anchors are expanded behind a billion-laughs guard, block scalars and multi-document files are supported, and every token a 1.1 reader would resolve differently is named.
- [JSON to YAML](https://toolsbyus.com/json-to-yaml): Converts JSON to YAML in the browser and verifies the result by parsing it back. A string is quoted whenever writing it bare would resolve to something else, so "no", "007" and "12:30" survive; multi-line strings become block scalars.
- [URL Encoder and Decoder](https://toolsbyus.com/url-encode-decode): Percent-encodes and decodes in the browser across four modes. A space is + in a form-encoded query string and %20 in a path, and decoding with the wrong one turns "a + b" into "a b" with no error; the mode is explicit and double-encoding is counted.
- [Hash Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/hash-generator): Computes MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512, CRC32 and HMAC in the browser using SubtleCrypto where it exists. Every result carries the algorithm's security status, and the page is explicit that none of these is a password hash.
- [Unix Timestamp Converter](https://toolsbyus.com/timestamp-converter): Converts Unix timestamps, ISO 8601 and relative expressions in the browser. The unit is inferred from magnitude and reported rather than assumed, so a millisecond value is never silently read as seconds and resolved to 1970.
- [Cron Expression Parser](https://toolsbyus.com/cron-expression): Explains a cron expression in English and lists its next ten runs. States the rule everyone gets wrong — the two day fields are ORed, so 0 0 13 * 5 is the 13th or any Friday — and proves an impossible schedule impossible rather than hanging.
- [OG Preview](https://toolsbyus.com/og-preview): Previews the Open Graph and Twitter card a crawler will render from your markup, resolving each platform's fallback chain so a missing og:title is visible as the card reading your
. Reports the silent failures — relative image URLs, missing alt text, absent dimensions, a summary card where a large one was wanted — and parses the head with a real scanner rather than per-tag regexes.
- [Character Counter](https://toolsbyus.com/character-counter): Counts text the way each destination will: grapheme clusters for most platforms, X's weighted length where a CJK ideograph costs two and every URL counts as 23, and GSM-7 versus UCS-2 segment arithmetic for SMS. Shows graphemes, code points, UTF-16 code units, words, sentences and bytes side by side against 23 real platform limits.
- [Regex Tester](https://toolsbyus.com/regex-tester): Matches a pattern against a subject inside a Web Worker with a two-second timeout. JavaScript cannot interrupt a running regex, so terminating the worker is the only defence against catastrophic backtracking; the pattern is also broken down token by token.
- [cURL to Code](https://toolsbyus.com/curl-to-code): Turns a curl command into fetch, axios, Python requests, Go, PHP or Ruby in the browser. The command is tokenized as shell rather than pattern-matched, so single quotes, double quotes, ANSI-C escapes, line continuations and clustered flags all parse correctly; headers, cookies, basic auth, multipart forms and -G query strings are translated, and -k is deliberately not reproduced.
- [SQL Formatter](https://toolsbyus.com/sql-formatter): Formats and minifies SQL in the browser across four dialects. Tokenised rather than pattern-matched, so a keyword inside a string literal stays a string and quoted identifiers are never rewritten — "User" and User are different tables.
- [HTML Formatter and Minifier](https://toolsbyus.com/html-formatter): Formats and minifies HTML in the browser, handling the four ways treating HTML as XML corrupts a page: void elements, raw-text elements, optional closing tags and whitespace between inline elements that the browser actually renders.
- [CSS Formatter and Minifier](https://toolsbyus.com/css-formatter): Formats and minifies CSS in the browser. Tokenised rather than parsed, so nesting, @container, @layer and syntax newer than the tool pass through unchanged instead of being dropped, and a brace inside a string is not structure.
- [Number Base Converter](https://toolsbyus.com/number-base-converter): Converts between base 2 and base 36 in the browser using BigInt end to end, so digits past 2^53 survive where parseInt silently loses them. Also shows two's complement, bit width and the set bits of a mask.
- [Case Converter](https://toolsbyus.com/case-converter): Converts identifiers between fourteen naming conventions in the browser. The work is word splitting: XMLHttpRequest is three words and user2fa is three, and locale-independent casing keeps the Turkish dotless i out of your identifiers.
- [Lorem Ipsum Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/lorem-ipsum): Generates placeholder text in the browser from the genuine Cicero vocabulary, plain English, or a Unicode stress mode whose purpose is to break a layout that has only ever seen ASCII — combining marks, right-to-left runs, emoji and unbreakable words.
- [Fancy Text Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/fancy-text-generator): Generate 21 Unicode fancy text styles — bold, italic, script, fraktur, circled — for Instagram, TikTok, and Discord. Copy and paste anywhere.
- [AI Cliché Remover](https://toolsbyus.com/ai-cliche-remover): Spot 129 AI-sounding clichés in your draft and swap each for a plainer phrase with one click — before/after diff included, 100% client-side.
- [Jargon Buster](https://toolsbyus.com/jargon-buster): Turn 176 corporate buzzwords into plain English: click any highlighted phrase for a simpler alternative and get a jargon score for the whole text.
- [QR Code Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/qr-code-generator): Generates QR codes entirely in the browser, ISO/IEC 18004 with Reed-Solomon error correction and all eight mask patterns scored. No server, so an encoded Wi-Fi password is never transmitted, and no tracking redirect, so the code cannot expire.
- [Barcode Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/barcode-generator): Encodes Code 128, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, Code 39 and ITF-14 from the symbology specifications, including the modulo-10 check digit and the quiet zones a scanner needs to find the symbol at all. Outputs SVG, because a raster barcode at the wrong DPI is the commonest reason a label fails to scan.
- [Color Picker](https://toolsbyus.com/color-picker): Picks a colour and reads it back in HEX, RGB, HSL, OKLCH and CMYK at once, with an eleven-step tint and shade ramp built in OKLCh so every step holds its hue. Reports the contrast of each step against white and black, which is the number that decides whether text can sit on it.
- [Contrast Checker](https://toolsbyus.com/contrast-checker): Checks a foreground and background pair against WCAG 2.2 at AA and AAA for normal text, large text and interface components, and reports the APCA lightness contrast alongside. Composites a translucent foreground before measuring, which is why its answer matches the browser's. When a pair fails, it finds the nearest colour that passes by moving lightness in OKLCh, so the result keeps the hue it started with.
- [Color Codes](https://toolsbyus.com/color-codes): A reference table of all 148 CSS colour names with their hex, RGB, HSL and OKLCH codes, searchable by name and sortable by hue or lightness. Each row carries its contrast against white and black.
- [Color Blindness Test](https://toolsbyus.com/color-blindness-test): A plate test for red-green and blue-yellow colour vision that generates its plates procedurally rather than reproducing the copyrighted Ishihara set, plus a simulator that shows any image or palette as it appears with protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia or achromatopsia. A screening indication, not a diagnosis, and it says so.
- [Color Converter](https://toolsbyus.com/color-converter): Converts between HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, OKLCH and CMYK in every direction, parsing the comma and the space syntax, bare hex, and CSS colour names. Refuses input it cannot read rather than returning black.
- [HEX to RGB Converter](https://toolsbyus.com/hex-to-rgb): Converts a hex colour to rgb(), including the alpha channel from a four- or eight-digit hex, and shows the arithmetic a digit at a time.
- [RGB to HEX Converter](https://toolsbyus.com/rgb-to-hex): Converts rgb() or rgba() values to a hex colour, in three, six or eight digits, and shows how each channel becomes two hex digits.
- [HEX to HSL Converter](https://toolsbyus.com/hex-to-hsl): Converts a hex colour to hue, saturation and lightness in CSS syntax, and explains why HSL lightness is not perceived lightness.
- [HSL to HEX Converter](https://toolsbyus.com/hsl-to-hex): Converts hue, saturation and lightness to a hex colour, with the sector arithmetic shown.
- [RGB to HSL Converter](https://toolsbyus.com/rgb-to-hsl): Converts rgb() values to hue, saturation and lightness, showing the max, min and chroma the formula runs on.
- [Color Wheel](https://toolsbyus.com/color-wheel): An interactive hue wheel that reads off complementary, analogous, triadic, tetradic and split-complementary schemes. Rotates hue in OKLCh rather than HSL, so every colour in a scheme keeps the perceived lightness of the one it came from — which is why the yellow in a triad does not blind you and the blue does not disappear.
- [CSS Gradient Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/css-gradient-generator): Builds linear, radial and conic CSS gradients with any number of stops, and interpolates in OKLab so a blue-to-yellow blend passes through green instead of grey. Emits both the modern `in oklab` syntax and an sRGB fallback.
- [Mesh Gradient Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/mesh-gradient-generator): Builds a fluid multi-colour background from four coloured blobs and writes it as layered radial gradients — the CSS, the Tailwind arbitrary values or a PNG.
- [Glassmorphism Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/glassmorphism-generator): Sets blur, saturation, tint, highlight border, radius and shadow for a frosted-glass panel, with the Safari prefix and the reduced-transparency fallback written in.
- [Box Shadow Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/box-shadow-generator): Builds a layered box shadow or glow — a short dark layer for the contact edge and a wide soft one for the lift — and exports the CSS, the Tailwind utility or a PNG.
- [SVG Wave Generator](https://toolsbyus.com/svg-wave-generator): Generates a curved SVG section divider — smooth, stepped, peaked or bumped, in one or two layers — and exports the SVG, a CSS data URI or a PNG.
- [Merge PDF](https://toolsbyus.com/merge-pdf): Combines PDF files into one entirely in the browser. Pages are copied with their full object graph and renumbered rather than concatenated, the order is yours to set, and connect-src 'self' means the browser itself blocks any upload.
- [Watermark PDF](https://toolsbyus.com/watermark-pdf): Stamps text or image watermarks onto PDF pages entirely in the browser. Rotation, opacity, tiling and page ranges; confidential documents never leave the device.
- [Split PDF](https://toolsbyus.com/split-pdf): Splits a PDF into separate files in the browser by range, one file per page, or fixed chunks. Selected pages are copied into new documents, so the pages left out are absent from the output rather than hidden in a copy of the original.
- [Rotate PDF](https://toolsbyus.com/rotate-pdf): Writes page rotation into a PDF rather than into your reader's view, so a sideways scan is fixed for every recipient. Nothing is re-rendered, so text stays selectable and the file does not grow.
- [Delete PDF Pages](https://toolsbyus.com/delete-pdf-pages): Removes pages from a PDF by copying the survivors into a new document. Taking a page out of the page tree leaves its text in the file for any extractor to find; this does not.
- [Reorder PDF Pages](https://toolsbyus.com/reorder-pdf-pages): Rearranges PDF pages in the browser by typing the order you want, with presets for the two orderings a sheet-fed scanner produces: a reversed stack, and fronts-then-backs-in-reverse from a two-pass duplex scan.
- [Unlock PDF](https://toolsbyus.com/unlock-pdf): Removes owner-password restrictions and decrypts a user-password document when you supply the password, in the browser. Deliberately implements no password cracking: sites offering that upload your file to run a dictionary attack.
- [Redact PDF](https://toolsbyus.com/redact-pdf): Draws black boxes over names, addresses and card numbers on a PDF, then flattens each page so the text under the box is gone rather than hidden. 100% client-side.
- [Remove PDF Metadata](https://toolsbyus.com/pdf-metadata-remover): Reads and strips the properties a PDF carries about you: the author, title, subject, keywords, producing software and timestamps, plus the XMP packet most tools leave behind. The XMP stream is unregistered rather than merely unlinked, the values the writing library re-adds are overwritten in place at the byte level, and the output is read back afterwards to check nothing survived.
- [PDF to JPG](https://toolsbyus.com/pdf-to-jpg): Renders PDF pages to JPG, PNG or WebP in the browser using pdf.js, the engine Firefox itself uses. DPI maps exactly to the PDF point grid, the canvas is painted white before a JPEG encode so pages do not come out black, and each canvas is released as it is encoded.
- [JPG to PDF](https://toolsbyus.com/jpg-to-pdf): Turns images into a PDF in the browser. JPEG and PNG data is embedded byte for byte rather than re-encoded, so nothing loses a generation of quality; WebP and AVIF are converted and the tool names which files that applied to.
- [PDF to Text](https://toolsbyus.com/pdf-to-text): Extracts a PDF's text layer in the browser, character for character, with line breaks reconstructed from glyph positions. Deliberately not OCR: a scanned page has no text layer, and the tool reports that rather than inventing something.
- [Compress PDF](https://toolsbyus.com/compress-pdf): Compresses a PDF in the browser two ways: a lossless rebuild that drops unreachable objects and repacks the structure, keeping text selectable, or a rasterising pass that shrinks a scan dramatically and removes the text layer. Reports the real saving instead of promising a percentage.
- [Compress Image](https://toolsbyus.com/compress-image): Compresses images in the browser by quality or to a target file size, binary-searching quality so the result always lands under the budget rather than near it. Previews are the real encoded output, and nothing is uploaded.
- [Resize Image](https://toolsbyus.com/resize-image): Resizes images in the browser by pixels, percentage or preset. Downscales by repeated halving so every source pixel is averaged in rather than skipped, which is what separates a sharp result from an aliased one. Batch capable, nothing uploaded.
- [Convert Image](https://toolsbyus.com/convert-image): Converts between JPG, PNG, WebP and AVIF in the browser. Transparency is composited against a colour you choose when the target has no alpha channel, which is what stops a converted PNG coming out black. AVIF support is feature-detected, not guessed.
- [Crop Image](https://toolsbyus.com/crop-image): Crops an image in the browser by dragging or by exact pixel values, with aspect-ratio presets and rule-of-thirds guides. The rectangle is held in the image's own coordinates, so the result is identical at any window size.
- [Photo Collage](https://toolsbyus.com/photo-collage): Combines up to nine photos into a collage in the browser: grid, strip and feature layouts with spacing, background and corner controls, full-resolution PNG/JPG export. Nothing is uploaded and every layout is free.
- [Blur Image](https://toolsbyus.com/blur-image): Blurs or pixelates sensitive regions of photos in the browser: brush and rectangle select, Gaussian blur or mosaic, full-resolution PNG/JPG/WebP export, no upload.
- [YouTube Thumbnail Downloader](https://toolsbyus.com/youtube-thumbnail-downloader): Download any YouTube video thumbnail in HD, SD, HQ, MQ, and default sizes. Works with watch, Shorts, youtu.be, and embed links.
- [QR Code Scanner](https://toolsbyus.com/qr-code-scanner): Scan QR codes from images, clipboard, or camera. Decodes URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, vCards, and more — fully private.
- [HEIC to JPG](https://toolsbyus.com/heic-to-jpg): Converts iPhone HEIC photos to JPG, PNG or WebP in the browser. Chrome and Firefox cannot decode HEIC, so a WebAssembly build of libheif is loaded on demand and runs locally. Photos with GPS metadata never leave the machine.
- [Image to Base64](https://toolsbyus.com/image-to-base64): Encodes an image as a base64 data URI in the browser with ready-made CSS, HTML, JSON and Markdown snippets. Shows the 33% size cost and says when inlining is the wrong call, which most tools do not.
- [EXIF Remover](https://toolsbyus.com/exif-remover): Shows the camera, GPS position, serial number and timestamps a photo carries, then strips them by drawing the pixels into a new file. 100% client-side, nothing uploaded.
- [EXIF Date Fixer](https://toolsbyus.com/exif-date-fixer): Set or shift EXIF timestamps across up to 20 photos at once — fix timezone-travel mistakes without touching a pixel. Metadata-only rewrite, nothing uploaded.
- [Image Watermark Adder](https://toolsbyus.com/image-watermark): Stamp text, tiled-text or logo watermarks onto batches of photos with drag positioning and opacity control. Full-resolution export, no branding added.
- [SVG Tracer](https://toolsbyus.com/svg-tracer): Traces a logo, icon or lettering into an editable SVG with one filled path per colour band, and reports the node count. 100% client-side, no upload, no watermark.
- [PNG to ICO](https://toolsbyus.com/png-to-ico): Builds a real multi-size .ico from a PNG in the browser: 16, 32, 48 and 256 pixel PNG entries in one directory, each resampled from the original pixels rather than from a larger reduction. Reads in every browser, in Windows 10 and 11 and in macOS, with the pre-Vista bitmap-entry caveat stated rather than hidden.
- [SVG to PNG](https://toolsbyus.com/svg-to-png): Rasterises SVG to PNG, WebP or JPEG at any pixel size from 16 to 4096, in the browser. The drawing is re-rendered by the browser's own vector engine at the target resolution rather than upscaled, the intrinsic size is read from the attributes or the viewBox with the fallback named, and the things an image context cannot resolve — remote fonts, linked images, foreignObject — are documented.
- [Add Music to Video](https://toolsbyus.com/add-music-to-video): Adds a music track to a video or strips its audio entirely, in the browser. Canvas capture plus Web Audio mixing through MediaRecorder, with volume, loop and fade controls and WebM/MP4 output. Nothing is uploaded.
- [Upscale Image](https://toolsbyus.com/upscale-image): Upscales images 2×–8× in the browser with a true Lanczos-3 windowed-sinc resampler in a Web Worker, plus bicubic and bilinear for comparison. Live 1:1 before/after preview, optional gentle sharpening, PNG/JPG/WebP output. Nothing is uploaded.
- [Remove Background](https://toolsbyus.com/remove-background): Removes image backgrounds in the browser with a local AI segmentation model (MODNet). Full-resolution transparent PNG export, no upload.
- [Compress Video](https://toolsbyus.com/compress-video): Compresses video in the browser to an exact target size (10 MB for Discord, 25 MB for email). WebCodecs re-encoding with bitrate math that steps resolution down honestly, audio keep/drop, MP4 output. Nothing is uploaded.
- [Video to GIF](https://toolsbyus.com/video-to-gif): Converts video clips to optimized animated GIFs entirely in the browser. Trim controls, frame-rate and size options, palette optimization; no upload, no watermark.
- [Audio Cutter](https://toolsbyus.com/audio-cutter): Cuts and trims audio in the browser with a draggable waveform: trim, delete-the-middle, fades, volume, MP3/WAV export via lamejs. Near-instant edits on raw samples, nothing uploaded.
- [Text to Speech](https://toolsbyus.com/text-to-speech): Free unlimited text to speech in your browser. Natural voices in 50+ languages, adjustable rate and pitch — no signup.
- [Audio to Text](https://toolsbyus.com/audio-to-text): Transcribes speech to text in the browser with a local Whisper model (tiny/base, 14 languages). Editable timestamped segments, TXT/SRT/VTT export. The model downloads once, then works offline; audio never leaves the device.
- [Auto Subtitles](https://toolsbyus.com/auto-subtitles): Generates SRT/VTT subtitles from video entirely in the browser with a local Whisper model. Editable timed segments, no upload, no account.

## Privacy & security guarantees
- The file or text a visitor puts into a tool is processed entirely in their own browser and is never transmitted. There is no upload step, no API route and no backend: the site is static files only.
- Tool input — the file content, pasted payload or generated result — is never written to localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. The browser keeps only interface preferences (theme, pinned and recent tools, each tool's last-used options, including short text typed as a setting such as watermark text), anything explicitly saved by the visitor (e.g. an invoice draft via its Save button), and, through the service worker, offline copies of pages already visited.
- A Content-Security-Policy enumerates every origin the page may connect to, and the browser enforces it. A payload has nowhere to be sent.
- This build serves no advertising and runs no analytics.
- Verifiable independently: open DevTools → Network, or disconnect from the internet, and every tool still works.
## Standards implemented
- [RFC 8259](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc8259) — JSON interchange format (parser and validator).
- CSV tools: [RFC 4180](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc4180) state machine (quoted fields, delimiters, CRLF).
- UUID tools: [RFC 9562](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9562) (v1/v4/v7).
- Base64/JWT: [RFC 4648](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc4648) (+URL-safe), [RFC 7519](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc7519) JWT claims.
- [RFC 6902](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc6902) — JSON Patch (diff export and patch application).
- [RFC 7386](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc7386) — JSON Merge Patch (diff export).
- [RFC 6901](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc6901) — JSON Pointer (paths in diff output and patches).
- [RFC 4648](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc4648) — Base64 and base64url alphabets.
- [RFC 9562](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9562) / [RFC 4122](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc4122) — UUID versions 1, 4, and 7.
- [JSON Schema Draft 2020-12](https://json-schema.org/draft/2020-12/schema) — schema inference and validation.
## Known limits
- Tools that run on the main thread refuse input above 8 MB rather than freezing the tab. The JSON diff runs in a Web Worker and accepts up to 100 MB for the two documents added together, not 100 MB each: 60 MB against 60 MB is refused.
- Schema validation covers the common Draft 2020-12 keyword set; `$ref` resolution and remote schema fetching are not supported (fetching a remote schema would require a network request).
- JWT signatures are decoded and inspected but never verified — verification needs the issuer's key, which would mean transmitting the token.
